I pray for a day when people stop killing each other
When we see the shared humanity in one another
I pray for a time when everyone has what they need
When hunger and homelessness are a thing of distant memory
I pray for a planet where inclusiveness and love reign
Where everyone feels connected and a part of the greater whole
I pray for a space where kindness and empathy are commonplace
When one of us is hurting we are all hurting, when one is joyful we all are joyful
I pray for an end to all wars and inhumanity
When we each can embrace one another in solidarity as one people
I pray for an end to illness  that impacts or prematurely claims life
When all are healthy, happy, and full of life
I pray for these things, but I also work towards them…
