I do a lot of things, in my professional work life, in my personal life, I always go above and beyond expectations, and time after time I am asked, “How do you do it?” and the only answer I can give is that I try. Anything that I do I give nothing less than my best, for good or bad, I give it everything that I can, no matter what it is that I do. Either I will do my best, or not do it at all, anything less is not in my repertoire. If someone asks me to help or to do something, I will give it my all to see it to fruition, if it doesn’t pan out, while I will be sorry and show them such, I will still know that I tried my absolute best.
If there’s something I want to do or learn, it receives my all, my attention, energy, efforts, and it generally pans out for me, that’s why I have accomplished so much in my life at only 43 years old as of writing this. I try, I genuinely give forth of myself and put my everything into all that I do, which keeps me from letting myself down. Anyone who knows me knows that I am “Mr. Dependable,” I am the person that they can turn to for help or whatever is needed of me, and I sort of pride myself on that. If I say I’m going to do something, I do it, if I say I am something, 100% fact that I am, if I say I can’t do something, I can’t, but in all cases I try my damndest.
At the end of the day, all we have is ourselves to look at in the mirror, and our word that we must live up to if we give it to others… period!
So, I try… I give my all, win or lose, pass or fail, I try. The moral of this story is to be upright, if you cannot give your all to something, don’t do it, and if you agree to do something or want to do something, give it your all and you’ll succeed whether or not it’s a success.
